It’s no secret that there’s now multiple camps in the female rap scene, with brewing beefs from each sides. While some have already erupted, others are a time bomb waiting to explode.

Last month, JT and GloRilla went at it on X, formerly Twitter, over rumors the latter slapped the former at the MTV VMAS.

While that seems to have died down, it was revisited in the behind the scenes footage of GloRilla and Megan Thee Stallion’s new music video for “Wanna Be”, where both rappers appear to shade the City Girls  rapper.

“Same hoes hatin’ used to wanna be besties (Besties) / You can get your wig turned like Effie (Like Effie),” Megan raps in the second verse of the song. The same line GloRilla used to shade JT during their back and forth on X.

“You can get ya wig turned like Effie,” GloRilla wrote on a photo of JT at the time, to which JT responded: “B*tch why are we talking about wigs? Are you hanpy you can finally afford one?”

In a follow up tweet, she wrote: “I wore my wig like this on purpose & saweetie ain’t have to buy it! Slow, swag less b*tch who wear sports bras & ski mask should never speak on a bad b*tch Fish face.”

In the behind the scenes footage of the Memphis and Houston’s rappers, they got messy by shading JT’s wig. “Why your wig to the siiide,” Meg said, as both ladies busted out laughing.

In the new music video for their collaborative single “Wanna Be,” Glo and Meg assert that they’re having it their way.

The Soulja Boy-sampled track was directed by veteran creative Benny Boom, showing Meg and Glo at a party where they have the upper hand with men who “don’t want to be saved” or “kept.”

The single is from GloRilla’s 12-track mixtape ‘Ehhthang Ehhthang’, which has musical assistance from Moneybagg Yo, Boston Richey, Finesse 2x, and Kevo Muney.
