Masika Kalysha Fired By UMC TV Show ‘Double Cross’ For Faking Kidnapping
Masika Kalysha Fired By UMC After Kidnapping Stunt To Promote Her OnlyFans Page
Masika Kalysha made controversial headlines earlier this week after she posted a video to Instagram that confused the public as she appeared to be covered in bruises and scratches, including donning a black eye.
In the viral video, the actress looked scared as she told viewers that she’d been kidnapped and appeared as if she was in agony. However, her stunt has costed her a role she plays in TV show ‘Double Cross’.
Following the backlash at the time, Masika deleted her original post and apologized for scaring people but said she needed to get their attention to bring light to an important issue. She said the bruises were just makeup and she’s on set for her new show, a series about child sex-trafficking. But it was too late.

In a statement released by the company she works with on the TV show “Double Cross”, they made it known that Masika has been fired and they’re looking to recast her role
“In light of the offensive video posted by Masika Kalysha while on the set of our series, “Double Cross,” we’ve made the decision to part ways with her immediately and will be recasting her role,” the statement reads.
“Double Cross” was created to shed light on the horrors of sex trafficking and we strongly condemn any inclination that such a serious issue should be made light of.”
